Love it !
Please add sensors for fan speed and temperature. Love it so far.. Thank you very much.. Looking forward to updates.

this program doest open.
Good but not updated frequently enough
The application provides excellent features, but it is not updated frequently enough. For instance, it currently crashes on OS X 10.8.5.
Good app but...
The app worked great since 4.2.0 version. Update to 4.2.1 and crash immediately on 10.8.5
Great Graphics Testing Tool
Its pretty fun to play around with. Recommended for gamers who want to see exactly what sort of graphics their Mac can push.
Indispensable
I could not refuse the opportunity to write the first review of this terrific app. Ive been using it for at least 5 years.
I freakin love this application because it constantly reminds me of how lazy Apple is at releasing updated drivers for OpenGL. I mean common they fully support 3.1 and 3.2 but since the 3.0 shader is not implemented everyone is still stuck on OpenGL 2.1… Lousy.
I figure I need to write a new review, because the latest version (4.0.8) actually works for me! Great update. Now, the app itself: theres a lot of data here, but its not the easiest to use. For example, at the bottom of the "Extensions" tab, theres a round search box, like youd normally find at the top of a window. Typing in there searches the list of extensions, but its pretty slow. Theres also a (misaligned) "Search" button next to this, and when I click it, it switches to my web browser and seems to open a new tab for each extension shown in the list (in my case, about 100). Yikes! I did not expect that. This is not an isolated case: I found myself saying "I did not expect that" a lot. The screenshots show OS X 10.6, and thats probably what it was tested against. Not everything looks so great on 10.7+. For example, you can only see 2 pixels width of the scrollbars on the "Extensions" tab. Nothing is completely broken, but it does seem somewhat unfinished. If you can figure out how to use it, theres a fantastic amount of data in here. Unfortunately, its not very intuitive, and the documentation is almost nonexistant.
Invaluable for OpenGL Developers
Weve been using this application for at least 6 years. Its not something that you use every day, but when you need it: saves the day.
Ive been using OpenGL extension viewer for years and its really cool and useful. However, the most recent build always crashes when running tests on the Core Profile. THis is something the developers really need to fix. Im running 10.8.3 on an iMac7,1.
Great app for knowing graphics extensions
It’s great app to see graphics hidden features in mac computers
When using the Intel HD Graphics IGPU OpenGLEV crashes and quits unexpectedly upon startup. Core profile isnt supported on this IGPU but OpenGLEV does not detect this and doesnt switch to compatibility profile automatically.
4.2.1 update crashes on open
These update crashes on open on both, my MBP 15" Early-2011 and my wifes MBP Retina 13".
Recent Update
Updated this app yesterday and now it crashes

Crashes upon open on 10.8.5
This software was installed my accident on my Macbook Pro, and is now impossible to remove. Every time I drag this app from the Applications folder to the Trash and empty the Trash, it replaces itself with another copy. It also always needs to update. I have installed version 4.25 at least 30 times now. Every time I turn on my computer, I get a push notification from the App Store stating that the “update installed successfully”, even after I have removed this app from my machine. The developers have not responded to my emails asking for further assistence to remove this application, so the only conclusion I can come to is that this app is a piece of malware that cannot ever be uninstalled. 0/10 - would not recommend.
Apple has a fantastic OpenGL implementation and this is a terrific way to compare features of graphics cards. In theory, I should be able to compare the features between Intel HD Graphics and the NVidia chip in the Retina MBP, but not sure why Intel is not listed. Still, Im really new to the Retina model...
Crashes in Mountain Lion
It works flawlessly as always in mavericks but whenever I try to open it in mountain lion, it just crashes.
Works great on Mountain Lion for me, although the Tests section crashes when set to Compatibility mode. Seems like an indispensible tool for OpenGL developers!
Crash on Startup
Great application for testing opengl and looking at OpenGL capabilities. But recently it has been crashing for me. Using 10.10.2 Yosemite.
Not working anymore
Hello! It doesn’t want to launch after updating. OS X El Capitan
Used to work until this update.
This app used to work great on My 2011 MacBook Pro. Three Days ago New Update came, Installed, now there is no Window showing, Just shows Menubar. Running MacOS High Sierra. Seems Developer does not check app on all Systems/Machins.
Crashes on launch
App fails to open on 2016 MacBook Pro on 10.12.3.

doesn't support Retina display
so icons are looking ugly
It works now! I just wish it worked better.
